COVID-19 information

 

We are still influenced by Covid19 and must follow the related regulations. We kindly ask you follow the GFZ-internal and government regulations carefully for a safe event bringing the community together after the long period of videoconferences:

  • The GFZ-internal and governmental measures, recommendations on distance, occupational health and safety, and infection prevention must be followed.
  • Please only attend the meeting if you have been free of symptoms of COVID-19 infection for at least six days (fever over 38°C, cough, cold, headache, aching limbs, fatigue and scratchy throat).
  • Please regularly disinfect and wash your hands and follow the proper conduct with respect to coughing and sneezing.
  • Please always maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 m to the others.
  • In the auditorium, please leave 2-3 seats between the participants and sit shifted compared to the neighboring rows: please see here the seating plan  in auditorium.
  • The wearing of mouth-nose protection (preferably FFP2) is mandatory for all participants with the following exceptions:
    • Outdoors,
    • Oral presenters during the presentation in the Auditorium,
    • While seated in the auditorium only when the 1.5 m distance and sufficient regular ventilation is met. However, it is still recommended to keep the mask while seated in any condition.
  • Masks are mandatory if a minimum distance of 1.5 m is not ensured when sitting.
  • Please wear a mask during the poster session.
  • Vaccination against the Coronavirus is viewed as an important protective measure, and it is recommended to test yourself regularly before attending the meeting.
  • In case of a suspected infection or tested positive during the workshop, we kindly ask to immediately start self-isolation and contact the organizers: d4g@gfz-potsdam.de
